A lighting design that is inspired by the poetic moon phase cycle. The calendar shows the passage of time in three ways simultaneously: its shape, its orientation, and its color. The shape is a mimicry for moon phases, indicating the relative positions of our star, planet and the moon. The orientation distinguishes the first half of the month from the second half. The gradient color also follows the 28-days cycle, adding another pecularity of each moon phase.
